Low Reflection Glass Factories

We offer an anti reflective coating that can be applied to glass (and acrylics and polyesters too). The coated glass has a light transmission of 94% when coated on one side and 96% when coated on both sides.

Low Reflection Glass Factories

The need for low reflection glass is obvious – standard glass in well-lit situations will always cause a reflection of some form. Low reflection glass offers – wait for it – lower reflections!

At Diamond Coatings, we can do better than that. We offer an anti reflective coating that can be applied to glass (and acrylics and polyesters too). The coated glass has a light transmission of 94% when coated on one side and 96% when coated on both sides.

This level of light transmission removes reflections and enhances the appearance of the glass dramatically.

Low reflection glass applications

In a nutshell, low reflection glass is used wherever a reflection is not desired – but you knew that already! Real world applications include showrooms and retail displays as well as VIP areas in sports stadiums for instance.

The use of low refection glass has increased hugely within museums and art galleries throughout the world. The benefit of seeing a work of art in all its glory (without a reflection from the protective glass or screen) has no doubt led to an enhanced appreciation from the viewer.

The same appreciation is also evident in zoos and aquariums – you are there to view the animals, not yourself!

There are of course some serious benefits to low reflective glass, in terms of security. With a reduced reflection there comes enhanced visibility, which is especially useful for a service station employee in low light conditions, as an example.

Low reflection glass factories

You only have to check out Google to see a multitude of choices when looking for low reflection glass factories. Of course, there is ‘low reflection’ and ‘anti reflective’ as a potential choice to consider here. As mentioned above, our anti reflective coated glass offers up to 96% light transmission.

Diamond Coatings are an established, award-winning global company that produces a vast range of ITO, Index Matched & Multi-Layer Anti-Reflection Coatings – many of which are designed specifically to meet customers optical requirements.
