Diamond Coatings offer an extensive range of glass types, including alkali-aluminosilicate sheet glass which is available for supply either uncoated, fully dimensioned and profiled to customer requirements or further enhanced by our full portfolio of vacuum deposited coatings.

Our decision to add two glass types – Gorilla Glass and Dragontrail Glass – to our range was made in response to ever increasing demand for beautiful thin, light and shiny glass with excellent mechanical properties. Alkali-aluminosilicate sheet glass meets these demands in every way.

About Alkali-Aluminosilicate Sheet Glass

Alkali-aluminosilicate glass is a specialised toughened glass, the key feature of which is thinness without fragility. This feature results in outstanding mechanical properties in terms of surface compressive strength, hardness and damage resistance.

Available in standard and customer specific sizes (upon request) and varying thicknesses.

Gorilla Glass (Corning)

The composition of this glass allows for a much deeper chemical strengthening layer than can be achieved with the majority of other chemically strengthened glasses, which makes it both exceptionally damage resistant and durable. Featuring excellent physical; mechanical, thermal and optical properties.

Dragontrail Glass (Asahi Glass Co)

The composition of this glass enables superior qualities in texture, scratch resistance and strength, that far exceeds those of normal glass and plastic. Produced by a float process method, capable of manufacturing even and flat sheets in large sizes.
